The classes will cover a variety of brain retraining areas with the main goal to teach your brain (and then body) that you are safe and OK, and not under the danger or threat the brain perceives and then produces in your body.
The group brain re-training classes are meant to be similar to going to the gym, or going to a workout or yoga class. Instead of me just talking about the reasons why you have these symptoms and what you should be doing, we are going to spend the time together with you actually ‘doing’ the brain retraining work for yourself.
Similar to when you go to a gym or yoga class, you are not talking about the exercises you are actually doing the exercises. I will be guiding you through various exercises and practices that target the brain to create internal safety. And like a gym or yoga class, I will be the instructor guiding you through this training together so you don’t have to do it alone. The classes are there to create guided, supported, and dedicated time to ‘doing’ the brain re-training work.
